The International Algarve Fair, organised by The Portugal News and supported by Lagoa council, is perhaps the largest annual event in Portugal for visitors to the Algarve and the expatriate community.
The fair is now in its 14th year and takes place at FATACIL in Lagoa over two days, June 8 and 9, with gates opening at 10am and closing at 6pm.
The fair offers an opportunity to meet many of the companies serving the local community throughout the region.
Visitors will be able to find new products and services that are available across the Algarve and will also be able to try out and enjoy many diverse products. From cakes and biscuits to gardening tools and internet-based television products, jewellery to pottery, there should no doubt be an opportunity to meet a company that can fulfill your requirements.
The British Consulate have a stand where you will be able to find answers to your queries, perhaps about Brexit.
And skydiving will be represented, now’s your chance to try out something far from your comfort zone.
The smaller members of the family also have many opportunities to enjoy themselves with street entertainers and the 10thAlgarve Dog Show to watch (or take part in of course).
There are over 120 stands to visit throughout the two days that the fair is open, including restaurants with al fresco seating and a wide choice of food – fish and chips, specialties from Brazil and India plus street food and much much more.
