The end of March is proving to be a busy one for events, with Easter just around the corner.
From March 24 to 26 Autódromo Internacional do Algarve will be hosting the 2023 FIM MotoGP World Championship.
It has been 18 years since Europe hosted the first race and with 21 races in all, this season will prove to be an interesting one.
With night races, Kazakhstan debuting in July and Le Mans hosting the 1000th Grand Prix the season ends in Spain in November.
All tickets for the race in Portugal sold out really quickly however, there is an opportunity for those who don’t yet have a ticket to buy one for €10 for the test days; March 11 and 12 (MotoGP) plus March 17, 18 and 19 (Moto2 and Moto3).

For the first time Rallye Casinos do Algarve, originally Volto ao Algarve at its conception in 1970, will race in the spring.
Between March 30 and April 1 60 cars will race across dirt tracks in eight different classification tests. There will be a qualifying stage on March 30 in Lagoa and a night special test in Lagos.
Ending in Portimão with a “city stage” the winners will receive their prizes in front of Hotel Algarve Casino in Praia da Rocha on the Sunday.

For those who enjoy jazz, every month the students studying on the Jazz Instrumentalist course in Portimão will be performing at the Black Box, Tempo.
Dates of the performances are March 23, April 27 and May 25. Entrance is free and the concerts start at 7pm.
Lagos will host, at the Cultural Centre, Russian pianist Rem Urasin who will present a concert which is part of The Great Romantics.
The concert is at 4pm on March 19. Works played will include those from Chopin and Liszt.
Tickets again cost €10 each and are available from the theatre, with free parking also.
