To end the month of October, classic cars will meet for a weekend in the largest event of its kind in the Iberian Peninsula – the Classic Car Festival.

All are taking place at the Algarve International Circuit, attracting motorsport enthusiasts and racing aficionados alike.

Superbike World Championship

The defending champion, Spain’s Álvaro Bautista, is currently the championship leader and he also holds the majority of the fastest laps this year.

Speed enthusiasts will be treated to high-octane battles as top riders from around the globe fight for points.

Together with Supersport and Supersport 300 riders, there will be seven races to enjoy.

This will be the Grande Finale of this year’s ELMS, with less than 48 hours between the 4 Hours of Portimão race and the 4 Hours of Algarve.

Other races taking place over the weekend include the Le Mans Cup, the Ligier European Series and the World Final of the Radical World Series.

The EMLS was launched in 2021 with five races, including a premier of the 1,000kms race at Estoril. This year’s ELMS is the 20th season thus proving it continues to be a popular event.
