Lagoa and Lagos are both busy with not just cultural events, but also activities for all the family.
Lagoa
The first ever Lagoa YogaFest will take place online over two days this month, September 25 and 26.
There are various levels of lessons, for adults and children alike and are all free of charge.
Promoted by Ideias de Levante, Lagoa’s cultural association, this is an opportunity to try yoga for the first time or join in for an extra weekend stretch. Do it on your own or with family and friends. To take part you must subscribe, click here for details.

Lagos
Lagos Science Centre, Centro de Ciência Viva, is located in the centre of Lagos.
The permanent exhibition, entitled From Astrolabe to GPS, looks at the Discoveries and navigation. With robots, drones, chain reactions and much more the exhibition is one for all ages.
Visitors can learn about submarines, how life was onboard the caravelas and practise tying knots and learning Morse code.
There are opportunities to enjoy exhibitions online plus many projects such as summer school, story time where children can learn how honey is made, for example, and even birthday parties where workshops can be enjoyed.
Prices start at €2.50 for individuals (under 6 years go free) and on Sundays Lagos residents can gain entrance free of charge. For prices, click here and for more information click here.
